Happy April Fool's Day!!

Hope you're able to do something silly, just for the fun of it today! It's tradition for us to do Ostrich Eggs (A plate full of Cool Whip with an upside down Peach half on top) for the kids, they look forward to it each year. I'm hoping to do a couple more food tricks for them to surprise em! The Family Fun website has a bunch of great ideas.

Speaking of fools, I made some of those super cute cupcake socks that Lauren Meader posted a tutorial for on her blog. She made them with kid socks, but I thought they'd be cute for adults too. A good friend of mine just had a birthday and what birthday is complete without cupcakes??

Here's what I made:

And a box to put them in:

The camera didn't pick up the sparkle of the glitter on top, much cuter IRL.

Aren't I a great friend, getting her some brown socks for her birthday?? :D My DD was very worried that I needed to be sure and tell her not to EAT these cupcakes! :D Too cute!

Enjoy the day!!

These are SO cute! This project would be fun with some bright socks for the frosting.....maybe even polka dots! (but some of my favorite socks are brown!) Thanks for sharing!
